Simply Manischewitz® Cook-Off Competition
The Manischewitz Company named Amy Siegel of Clifton, NJ Grand Champion of the Third Annual Simply Manischewitz Cook-Off. Out of thousands of recipe entries nationwide, six finalists were chosen to compete in a live cook-off held at the NY Marriott Marquis on February 13, 2009. Amy Siegel's Marvelous Mediterranean Falafel Sliders topped five other award-winning recipes, allowing her to take home the $25,000 grand prize package which includes GE Profile kitchen appliances, cash and more. In addition, the day of the Cook-Off was proclaimed "Simply Manischewitz Cook-Off Day" by Mayor Bloomberg of New York City.

Hungry-Man Dinner Contest
Chad Erickson of Manchester, Connecticut was chosen as the grand prize winner in the "Hungry-Man Dinner Contest." Mr. Erickson, a 28 year-old
graphic and audio designer, was selected from among thousands of entries for his Hungry-Man® dinner suggestion, The Fajita Dinner.
As the winner of "The Next Hungry-Man® Dinner Contest," Mr. Erickson will receive a $500 American Express Gift Card. Additionally, his "Fajita Dinner" idea will be reviewed by the research and development team at Hungry-Man® for a possible future addition to the line.

National Bake Sale Contest
A moist and delicious Duncan Hines cupcake is never really just a cupcake. Duncan Hines has announced the winners of the National Bake Sale Contest to benefit CancerCare for Kids®. Yuki Marshall, a mother of three, held a bake sale, donated proceeds to CancerCare for Kids, and came out as the top cupcake!
Entrants were asked to submit pictures of their most creative cupcake along with a no-more-than 50 word story describing their bake sale. Group and individual entries to the contest were judged on criteria including creativity and inspiration by an independent panel of experts including Duncan Hines executives, Clare Crespo (creative baking expert and author of Hey There, Cupcake!), CancerCare staff, and the editors of KidsDay news. The Duncan Hines National Bake Sale Contest prizes were awarded to one group, one individual. Each individual member of one grand prize group winner (each group must be limited to 20 members) received a $100 US Savings Bond and a Cuisinart® Power Select" 7-Speed Electronic Hand Mixer (SRP $49.95). One individual grand prize winner received a $500.00 US Savings Bond and a Cuisinart® 5.5 Quart Stand Mixer (SRP $349.99).

iJam with miJam Contest
The miJam® line of musical iPod accessories announces that Christopher Gebbia, 38 of Milford, PA has been selected as the grand prize winner of the first ever international "iJam with miJam" contest. Christopher is a custodian at a local school district by day and a drummer by night. He writes and records his own music. Gebbia's prize includes an all expenses paid trip to New York City to appear on the local Fox, Good Day NY morning show, a $500 American Express Gift Check and the entire line of miJam products.
